Looking for someone who can handle LARGER BREEDS OF DOGSl.

Looking for an active, responsible, punctual individual who loves dogs!

Currently hiring - Fill-In/Part-Time potentially Full-Time (Overnight pet sitting availability a PLUS!)

Hours: Typically Monday through Friday - 9am-5pm - Weekends you will be asked if you can do walks/fill ins and we need someone who is willing to go up and beyond and be part of our TEAM. Only apply if you can commit to that open availability and days.

Midges Dog Walkers route: Rumson, Red Bank, Tinton Falls, Long Branch, Shrewsbury, Oceanport and surrounding areas.

As a dog walker you read everything written, we cannot miss a detail or note from the client. So you MUST have attention to detail and be able to work on your own without supervision.

Must be available on short notice for occasional midday added walks as necessary, as well as for coverage of walkers on vacation. This is a great position and very good pay and seeing pups and cats daily is just a bonus!

Right now you'll be a fill-in/part-time and if applicable an overnight pet sitter.

You must have reliable transportation, a smartphone with texting capabilities, able to upload and use our APP on your phone and knowledge of dogs. And you must feel comfortable with both small and large breeds. "REALLY NEED TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE LARGER BREEDS" up to 85lbs and would need you to let us know how you feel about it.

This is a great job for someone who has the ability to work with minimum supervision, is an independent thinker and decision maker.

Independent contractors who are already dog walkers are encouraged to apply!

The ideal Independent Contractor should:

• Be local and within a 8 mile radius of Long Branch.
• Be willing and able to work the stated hours for a "MINIMUM" 1 year commitment.
• Be a reliable adult who excels in all aspects of caring for animals -- feeding, exercise, clean-up and giving attention.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Have your own reliable transportation.
• Be able to maintain your schedule via internet, email and smartphone.
• Be punctual and detail oriented and background clear.
• Have professional customer service skills, including clear writing ability and effective phone manners.
• Have excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with the office and your clients, via telephone, email, text and through the APP on your smartphone.
• Be able to work (and drive) in inclement or extreme weather conditions, as necessary.

You are not an employee. You are in independent contractor and you will need to send me a weekly invoice and you are responsible for your own taxes. We will issue you a 1099 to file.
