MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering documentation and/or manufacturing environment
  • Associates Degree preferred in Information Technology or Manufacturing Systems associated fields

ABOUT THE JOB!
The Document Administrator will be the gateway and controller of engineering documentation and information. As such, they will monitor and regulate the quality of the engineering change process, execute/implement document control procedures, and manage the integrity of the document repository.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience working with ERP systems required. INFOR ERP experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Document Control Systems required with experience in Qualtrax or similar preferred
  • Function in an ISO9001 or AS9102 quality management system required.
  • Ability to work with databases and/or possessing scripting capabilities a plus
  • Good communication abilities, both written and verbal, required
  • Good organizational skills required
  • Ability to use standard MS Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that engineering change orders (ECO) conform to standard operating procedures prior to launch
  • Work within Qualtrax Document Control System to load documents into the repository upon ECO completion
  • Track monthly ECO based metrics and implement improvements if need to meet cycle time
  • Create and maintain part information and Bill of Materials in INFOR ERP system
  • Organize and maintain long term document retention records
  • Work with purchasing to obtain required standards and maintain those standards to current revisions
  • Train and maintain proficiency of dedicated back up resource to support system when required by workload or absence.
  • Own creation and maintenance of user data base and training updates
  • Support internal and external ISO compliance audits
