Administrative and Documentation Specialist (VOPS-2023-18665):
Bowhead is looking for a Administrative and Documentation Specialistto join our team and support organization of our organization’s documents for easy access for our various teams. We need an Administrative Documentation Specialist to support War Room operations located at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. Individual will be providing admin support for the DDG1000 development team. The War Room is in a secured space where meetings are held and groups work on tasks. Telework is not an option for this position due to the nature of the job.
Responsibilities:
Essential functions will include:
- Managing archival systems
- Labeling, sorting, and categorizing documents for ease of use
- Providing documents, graphics, Other products upon request
- Associates Degree or demonstrated experience
- 2 years of esperience in providing administrative support
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the SECRET level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
