Position Summary
PMA is seeking a document control specialist to support a major heavy civil infrastructure project. Responsibilities of the specialist include overall managing of project documents; maintaining records; tracking action items; and assisting project staff (i.e., consultants and client personnel) in preparing progress reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and other project-related documents, as well as supporting the project with overall quality control with respect to established document formatting and style guidelines. This is a full-time role; the successful candidate will be working closely with the project Management team.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of related experience working as part of a project team on large, heavy civil infrastructure design and/or construction projects required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including proper use of MS Word for formatted and final polished documents and use of spreadsheets for tracking data and computations, required.
  • Excellent proofreading skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Exceptional ability to stay organized and handle multiple action items required.
  • Experience in project design and construction elements is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using MS SharePoint, Bluebeam, Quick Base, or similar tools required.
Additional Requirements
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
