About the role:
An employee in this position is responsible for customer relations in the DME office. This position is also responsible for maintenance and coordination of the DME office.
  • Open and close the DME office daily.
  • Arranging and updating product displays in the office
  • Responsible for the answering service/on-call procedures
  • Greet customers and other visitors in the office
  • Answer customer product questions
  • Maintain all patient files and information in an orderly manner at all times
  • Screen and direct all incoming communications
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent with at least one year general office experience, medical office experience preferred.
  • Computer keyboarding experience with a minimum speed of 30 wpm.
  • A pleasant telephone manner and ability to relate positively to all persons.
  • Experience with various office types of office equipment.
  • Detail oriented, good people skills and the ability to follow-up.
  • Neat personal grooming and appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
  • Able to handle stressful situations.
  • Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Has presented a pre-employment physician's health clearance including a negative TB skin test and/or CXR and other tests as required by organization policy.
