Divisional Vice President

The CommuniCare Family of Companies currently owns/manage numerous World-Class Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers, Specialty Care Centers and Assisted Living Communities throughout Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Since 1984, CommuniCare Health Services has provided superior, comprehensive management services for the development and management of adult living communities.

We are looking to fill a key position, Divisional Vice President for the West Virginia Division . The right person for this position will have Long Term Care experience including business development, expense, cost, and margin control, and ongoing financial goal management.
The Divisional Vice President reports to the Sr. Division Vice President and is responsible for the Division’s day-to-day oversight with direct line authority and responsibility for all nursing home operations through the Regional Directors of Operations, including business development, expense, cost, and margin control, and ongoing financial goal management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides day to day leadership to regional directors for the operations of the nursing homes.
  • Achieves positive financial results.
  • Develops regional management teams and holds them accountable for exceptional patient care and financial outcomes.
  • Ensures company-wide implementation of organization vision at all levels of operation.
  • Assists the Sr. Vice President in achieving financial and operating results at all levels of operation.
  • Reviews, develops, and assists in implementation of consistent company-wide, facility-based policies and procedures which will exceed all state and regulatory minimum requirements.
  • Develops (recommend for approval) and implements a yearly business plan and budget for each region and each facility consistent with the company-wide business plan and budget.
  • Assists in developing existing and new facilities.
  • Sets operational and or performance goals for each region which are achievable and tied to long-term goals.
  • Establish and monitor performance reporting systems.
  • Serves as a member of the executive team of CommuniCare Health Services (CHS).

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or health-related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' senior level leadership experience.
  • Multi-facility (10+ facilities) and multi-state management experience in a long-term care setting required.
  • Must have a proven track record of successful financial results in prior positions.
