As a Trex District Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of district’s strategic plan and coordinating with the National Retail Sales Manager to ensure alignment with the regional strategic plan.

As a member of our Sales Team, you’ll be helping us meet take advantage of market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in our sales strategies.

DUTIES

  • Serve as primary contact for distributor locations within the district.
  • Develop and leverage strong business relationships with key contacts at each branch location in district of responsibility.
  • Coach, train and mentor direct reports to improve organizational capability.
  • Execute at least one “work-with” in market monthly, per representative. Each “work-with” is expected to be a full day in length. A coaching document with stated goals and objectives to aid development should be completed for each session.
  • Establish annual employee developmental plan in collaboration with each direct report.
  • Conduct mid-year reviews and evaluate performance for each direct report.
  • Develop and leverage key geographic contacts for defined national account customers and Home Depot district managers.
  • Maintain established call frequency with national account, Home Depot district managers and national and regional builder contacts.
  • Develop and execute annual business plan to help achieve the district’s goals and align with the regional strategic plan.
  • Drive achievement of KPIs across district and the district’s focus against pull-through activity.
  • Establish and maintain travel and expense budgets for district.
  • Effectively manage co-op funding for each distributor and dealer within district.

EXPERIENCE

A four-year college degree with more than eight years of sales experience is required. Additionally, candidates should have a record of achieving outstanding sales results, three years of key account responsibility and three years of successful people management experience is required. If you’ve worked as an account manager or a regional sales manager, you’re Trex material for sure.

SALARY

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. This is not inclusive of any additional compensation in the form of commission, bonus or other benefits that this position may be eligible for. Base pay will be determined on an individual candidate basis and a number of factors such as, years of experience, education, skill level, market data for similar roles in similar locations and internal equity among peers.
