Our job is to make it easy and enjoyable, so patients and customers alike feel comfortable and understood. We believe in community and inclusivity. What is a Dispensary Agent?

The key to making our neighbors feel at home! When guests walk through the door, our UpTop Dispensary Agents want everyone from the canna-curious to avid users to feel at ease and a world away from their everyday grind. A successful Dispensary Agent listens, empathizes, and offers a positive customer experience to each of our neighborhood guests without judgement.

The Daily Grind (duties)

Our Dispensary Agents are the face of UpTop. This means we look for enthusiastic and motivated talent – in particular, those who have worked in a fast-paced retail setting.

Customer/Patient Service

• Welcoming but not Fake – Checking in, picking up, or checking out we're always upbeat and actively looking for ways to help customers find what they need.
• Trustworthy but not intimidating – Our approach to the dispensary experience inspires credibility and positions us as an expert go-to-resource for cannabis products
• Charismatic but not arrogant – We keep things personable, approachable, and engaging.
  

Build Relationships

• Get to know the guest – offer a personalized experience so the next time they swing by you have an idea of what products they like!
  

Teamwork makes the dream work!

• You get to work with a stellar group of UpTop team members who not only help our guests but help each other. It's important for us to nurture a culture of acceptance and support. If you see someone needs help, ask, and jump in. We lean on each other to get things done.

• To grow we need to learn – self education and working with your managers to learn the systems and product is key. That way you can help all our awesome guests get exactly what they're looking for with confidence.
  

Got what it takes? (Must Haves)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality (customer facing) experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to register as a cannabis agent with the state.
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend over, and reach with little or no assistance.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced (fun) retail environment.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
