Location: Feed Mill – Pine Bluff, AR
Position: Dispatcher
Work Shift: 1st Shift
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for but not limited to:
- Loading and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Dispatch drivers which include being able to re-route drivers on the driver's schedule and adjusting the schedule as needed.
- Answer phone calls from growers and Broiler techs as well as keep records of any outs called in.
- Accurately weigh and record feed weights. Must be self-motivated and be able to maintain records.
- Team member must learn how to load trucks and keep their work area as well as the Load-Out area and 2nd floor area clean.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
- Must be able to work all holidays and be willing to work weekend when required.
Requirements:
- Positions require the ability to work in hot environments, use of hands and arms above shoulder level and be able stand 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to climb stairs to/from work areas.
- Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout).
- Must be able to tolerate standing/walking up to 100% of the shift.
- Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Must have use of both hands and arms.
- Must be to communicate in both oral and written format
- Must have a basic knowledge of math.
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and reach
- Must work well alone with limited help.
- Must be able to lift 55+ lbs.
- Must be able to follow all NAE and FDA guidelines.
- Must be able to work in dusty environment and wear a dust mask when required.
Rehire Consideration:
- 365 day (1 year) waiting period
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be consider for hire
