The Gilpin Casino is currently in search of a “Dishwasher—Lucille Malones”. We first opened our doors in 1992 following the legalization of gambling. Situated in the heart of the storied gaming district, this historic building offers the same “Old West” charm as it did in 1869. The Gilpin Casino encompasses more than 37,000 square feet with 400 slot machines and Lucille Malone’s Restaurant that serves legendary comfort food.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Clean all back of the house areas, including kitchen, restaurant, food storage and trash handling areas
• Clean china, glass, silverware, cooking equipment, utensils, pots, and pans
• Scrape dishes, collect and transport waste and garbage
• Return clean items to proper preparation area i.e., kitchen or restaurant
• Clean floor drains
• Follow sanitary and proper food handling procedures
• Perform general weekly or monthly maintenance as deemed necessary by kitchen management
• Assist with back of the house supply and clean up as needed
• Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
• Six months experience dishwashing and food preparation in a large volume food establishment helpful
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
