Job Description:

Botique Boca Raton Family law firm seeks a financial records and discovery assistant to assist with docketing, discover, billing, discovery process management and other responsibilities relating to the collection and organization of discovery documents in family law cases. Proficiency in Word, Excel and PDF documents required. Familiarity with CLIO or other case management software is a plus. We are a busy but friendly office with warm and supportive culture dedicated to excellence in the practice of family law.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Scan/Copy/download into the client’s case file discovery documents received from our client or opposing counsel.
• Organize documents in Sharepoint and save documents in accordance with established naming conventions and methods.
• Evaluate incoming and outgoing document production to identify missing documents, list deficiencies and communicate with the client or opposing counsel to obtain missing documents as needed.
• Calendar and monitor discovery deadlines.
• Follow up with clients and opposing counsel concerning missing or incomplete production.

Flexible business working hours and environment available but some in-office work will be required each week.

Applicant Qualifications:

• Law firm experience 1-3 years
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with CLIO or other case management software
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat DC platform
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiary with MS Office suite including Sharepoint, Outlook, MS Word and Excel

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
