Qualifications

• Prior experience managing multiple DC’s and area managers
• Proven leadership in managing others such as supervisors, managers, etc
• Must be able to work onsite in Youngstown / Warren, Ohio area
• Minimum of 7-10 years in expanding leadership roles within Warehouse Operations, managing multiple growing warehouses across geographies and/or markets

• 5+ years of experience in building & managing semi-automated warehouse/production systems
• Strong leadership, problem-solving acumen, and analytical decision-making background
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage people, build teams, and drive teams to meet and exceed goals
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and get people outside of your direct team on board to help you succeed

• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects and locations simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, individual, and team-oriented work environment

• Strong ability to create management reporting to detail current status and future plans
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines

• Proven track record of operational excellence using analytical tools and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and WMS experience
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to travel to various warehouse location on a periodic / quarterly basis

Responsibilities

• You will manage the Distribution Centers and distribution systems
• You will have 100-150 direct/indirect reports
• You will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee warehouse/operations activities, as well as develop and implement efficient and cost-effective systems and processes to meet current and future needs

• Manage and lead a network of 5 warehouse locations
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse managers and clerks across multiple facilities
• Lead, develop, and motivate top talent while cultivating a performance-driven culture among geographically dispersed teams

• Partner with HR colleagues on recruitment and talent management for warehouse team
• Provide clear and consistent expectations to other functional leaders including sales, customer support, technical support, and accounting
• Partner with Order Entry and Purchasing functions to ensure order and inventory processes are working efficiently in our warehouses and are properly reflected in our ERP

• Collaborate with internal IT/Operations colleagues on warehouse-related systems and processes, with a particular focus on implementation and execution of a WMS
• Develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems and processes designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization
• Continually improve the supply chain through shipping/receiving optimization, inventory accuracy & reconciliation, and warehousing improvement initiatives
• Ensure all legal and regulatory and compliance requirements are met within scope of influence

• Develop, monitor, assess, and manage performance metrics relative to inventory, service levels, on-time delivery, shipping, order accuracy, RMAs, etc
• You will be responsible for the build-out of a new distribution program, building new distribution channels, and adjusting existing ones

• Direct all outbound warehouse operations picking, packing, and shipping
• Direct warehouse automation, implementation, and daily operation/maintenance
• Works with temp employee agencies as needed to meet short-term labor demands
