The Director, of Talent Engagement leads the design, development, implementation, and ongoing management of Talent Management programs which align with individual and organizational goals to make sure employees and Team Leaders perform to the best of their abilities now and in the future. Key areas of responsibility include performance management, staff training, leadership development, employee recognition and engagement. The Director, Talent Engagement serves as the subject matter expert and resource for managers and supervisors in attracting talent, retaining talent, and providing value to talent. The Director, Talent Engagement acts as a cultural champion by advocating and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the organization. This position plays an important role in influencing and guiding a positive workplace culture that brings our cause of strengthening community to life for every employee.

Days/Hours: Full-Time Monday-Friday

Experience/Education/Certification Requirements/Requisite Computer Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 -5 year’s successful staff development experience that includes training and leadership development. Experience working at YMCA or other non-profit a plus.
  • Ability to lead meetings, trainings and presentations.
  • General knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years successful human resource experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with racially and ethnically diverse communities is essential.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Technologically savvy and eager to streamline processes utilizing HRIS (including ATS) system.
  • A proven track record in creating a preferred employer culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,356.00 - $72,000.00 per year
