Director of Rehab – Home Health

Hillcrest Health Services is looking for a motivated and tenured individual to join our therapy team as Director of Rehab for Home Health.
This position is responsible to direct and supervise the activities of the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation department; including physical, occupational, and speech therapy in home health and other community settings.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Establish and meet financial, efficiency and quality of therapy service goals for multiple home and community locations and establish performance improvement plans when indicated.
• Responsible for the appropriate utilization of therapy services and effective communication within service line leadership.
• Effectively self-manage by using leadership skills while being trusted and holding confidentiality.
• Implements procedures for hiring, onboarding, and engagement of team members; inspires team members to achieve better performance; effective conflict management, negotiation, problem solving, decision making, communication, presentation skills, coaching, and effectively build high functioning teams.

What do I need to have to be considered for this position?

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy program required.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, and/or similar related field preferred.
• At least three years’ experience working in a home health care setting as a therapist required.
• Experience managing rehab operations preferred.
• Must be licensed in discipline in the state of Nebraska.
