Director of Operations - Margaritaville Resort - Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Fins up! Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach is seeking a Director of Operations to ensure smooth daily operations of South Florida’s newest hotel scheduled to open in September of 2023.

The Director of Operations will play a vital role in the daily operations of the hotel and the execution of world-class service. This Director of Operations will oversee the operations and assignments of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, Recreation, Laundry, Valet, and Retail teams. In addition, the Director of Operations will assist in the development, communication, and implementation of strategic goals and objectives of Margaritaville. This position reports to the Vice President of Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach.

Essential Job Expectations:

• Maintain the hotel as if it was your own
• Provide a safe, healthy environment for all guests and associates
• Assure that your daily actions and decision-making reflects TPI’s nine core values
• Assist the Vice President in developing strategic goals and objectives for the resort
• Oversees the Guest Service outcomes for all listed departments
• Mentors and develops resort department heads to be empathetic and culture-focused leaders
• Develops training programs for all rooms division departments
• Oversees all departmental, budgets, forecasts, and schedules
• Fosters a genuine and friendly guest arrival and departure experience
• Keep colleagues informed with information related to the resort’s operation
