We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to lead our nursing department.

East Cascade Retirement Community, located in beautiful Central Oregon, is now actively recruiting for a Director of Nursing to provide oversight to our 20-bed Skilled Nursing Community.

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for directing and developing the operations of the nursing department in a way that efficiently and effectively meets residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and for establishing and maintaining systems that function in a financially sound manner. You will also be responsible for educating and providing oversight to Nurses, CMA’s and CNA’s. As the Director of Nursing you will be responsible for working closely with the Skilled Nursing Administrator.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

State of Oregon RN License that is current and in good standing

Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills

Working knowledge of PDPM and processing MDS’s is preferred.

Must possess basic computer skills, including email use

Must be a team player, well organized and flexible
