The Allen Law Firm is searching for a dynamic and fast-paced self-starter to join our team as the
Director of Marketing. This role, based in our Richmond office, is responsible for ensuring that the Firm's marketing strategy and tactics are aligned with overall Firm strategies. The successful candidate will be a member of the Firm's Leadership Team and must be a strategic, experienced leader with the desire and ability to get involved in project details as needed.
Essential Job Functions:

Develop and oversee execution of the Firm's overall marketing plan and department budget

Manage relations with external providers of services such as website, media relations, and marketing-related technologies

Collaborate with attorneys to develop individual marketing plans.
- Partner with New Case department to ensure experience for new clients reflects Firm brand

Develop and implement marketing plans to support emerging and growing practice areas
- Track campaign effectiveness and make recommendations to senior leadership based on available data.

Remain active in marketing organizations and local marketing groups with goal of creating and nurturing strong relationships and introducing new marketing strategies and tactics for use within Firm

Identify and present new programs and initiatives to senior leadership to further reach and expand Firm presence

Lead market and competitive research initiatives to influence future strategy and decision making

Lead team responsible for community sponsorships and events, PR, advertising, and branding
Minimum Requirements: -
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other associated field is required. Master's Degree preferred.

15+ years of progressively responsible experience in Marketing is required, at least 5 of which must be in a leadership capacity.
- Strong hands-on management experience, preferably in a mid-sized (100-300 staff) service organization.
- Broad marketing experience driving projects in print, social media, web, and television.

Outstanding communication, both written and verbal is critical to success in this role.

Demonstrated ability to manage third party vendors and project implementation is required.
