Lafayette's downtown areas hosts many shops, restaurants, and festivals. Still considered a rural community, Lafayette has many beautiful parks and miles of hiking and nature areas throughout. Located 1 hour north of Indianapolis and 1 1/2 hours south of Chicago, it's just a quick trip on US 65 to visit these cities as well.

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee and monitor implementation and support of all technology systems
• Advise on future technology needs and system costs projections
• Ensure maximum use and efficiency of all systems
• Provide direct, hands-on education and support to staff in the use of technology in a manner which promotes patient safety and confidentiality as needed
• Provide system support to all end-users, including providers as needed
• Actively participate in testing and validation of departmental systems and components
• Establish audit and prescribe use of tools to test existing programs efficacy.
• Provide direct hands-on training for department staff in the use of computer hardware, software, and related processes, including adherence to HIPAA and privacy policies as needed
• Researching and recommending new technology solutions
• Identifying new quality improvements related to clinical technologies
• Leading efforts to improve IT processes
• Preparing financial budgets and presenting proposals for capital projects to senior executives
• Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals
