Director of Integrated Outpatient Services

Schedule: Full-time, benefits-eligible position.
Pay: DOQ

In collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer, directs the overall operations of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, the Denver Apartments and the Theodora. Areas of responsibility include staff supervision, fiscal management, program development, license and contract adherence, quality assurance/outcome management, support for fund-raising, community networking. The Division Director will work collaboratively with agency leadership and staff to support the goals and implementation of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Center initiative.

Essential Duties

  • Supervise program manager(s) in the division according to Volunteers of America, Utah policy and procedures. Provide direct supervision to other ACT team members as needed.
  • Maintain programs within licensing standards and in compliance with our contracts.
  • Ensure full drawdown of contracts and grants within the division.
  • Oversee program development/implementation to meet client needs in accordance with best practice guidelines and ACT fidelity measures.
  • Develop and maintain an effective quality improvement plan within the division.
  • Maintain collaborations with community stakeholders/funders whose services impact the clients within the division.
  • Oversee implementation and management of clinical supervision in support of high quality clinical services to all clients.
  • Make management decisions based on policy.
  • Assist in coaching and training of all program staff.
  • Implement activities required to maintain clean well-organized facilities, meaningful activities for clients, and appropriate levels of staff involvement with clients.
  • Oversee monthly budget meetings to ensure program managers are operating within budget.
  • Participate in fundraising efforts including grant writing to support the division.
  • Resolve disputes, complaints, and grievances in a timely manner
  • Ensure all client and facility documentation is completed according to contract guidelines.
Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a social service field, and license as LCSW, CMHC, Ph.D.
  • Supervisory and administrative experience required. Program operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of social service delivery system and community resources.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, ethics, and best-practices affecting the delivery of program services.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate to staff. Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Work is generally performed in an office environment. Must sit for extended periods of time. Walk up and down stairs.
