POSITION: Director of Information Technology

Summary:

The Director of IT is responsible for maintaining and improving our multi-site corporate IT environment, including Networks, Servers, Databases, Security systems, and associates’ assets, with a focus on improving stability and performance to support our company growth, current and future.

This candidate will have extensive experience with best-in-class infrastructure and security practices. They will display strong leadership, accountability, and ownership qualities with the mindset for taking initiative and rolling up their sleeves when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain Office 365 environment continuing to leverage and deploy new features as they become available.
• Provide thought leadership around all aspects of IT.
• Assess the (cyber)security of our IT infrastructure, systems, and information, and create short- and long-term plans for eliminating security risks.
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching associates, communicating job expectations, and assessing team performance.
• Drive innovation and introduce new technology opportunities that align with corporate goals and initiatives.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers to ensure that our technology infrastructure, systems, and end-user devices continually operate reliably and efficiently.
• Identify and define new technology & process improvement opportunities that optimize efficiency and data quality.
• Serve as an Sr IT Sponsor with customers on issues, questions, and concerns regarding the areas within the Information Organization
• Establish a team of IT & Security SMEs with the goal to provide managed services to our clients.

Qualifications/Education:

A highly motivated, positive, and results oriented individual with a substantial technological & IT management background.

• Excited about Technology and using it to better the experience of Associates and Customers.
• 5-7 years of IT management experience.
• 5-7 years of Windows Server administration experience including AD, DNS, DHCP and experience working within SQL Server and Hyper-V virtual environments; MCSE a plus.
• 5-7 years of network administration experience; CCNA a plus as well as Meraki networking experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Windows, Windows Server, Office 365, SQL).
• Understands the importance of communication & effective collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform multiple assignments and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to document process workflows
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred
