About the Position:

  • Responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of all human resources functions at Lund.
  • Communicates and provides leadership and guidance on human resource services, initiatives, and programs within Lund.
  • Fosters a workplace environment and culture consistent with the Lund mission.
  • Develops staffing strategies and implementation plans to identify internal and external talent in the most creative and cost-effective ways.
  • Oversees hiring policy and process to streamline and enhance staffing needs and manages recruiting and applicant tracking system; oversees onboarding process.
  • Manages job classification and total compensation programs.
  • Manages annual employee performance evaluation process.
  • Administers all benefits programs.
  • Provide human resource guidance and support to supervisors and directors regarding employee performance and discipline issues.
  • Respond to employee relations, and conduct investigations as appropriate, on issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Investigate, assess, recommend and implement resolution strategies for employee relations problems.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management. Identify trends that could impact organizational objectives and/or operational resources. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise leadership and employees accordingly to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure licensing, regulatory, and legal compliance as applicable to human resource functions.
  • Develop and oversee HR policies. Communicate changes to Lund personnel policies and procedures to employees and ensure proper compliance.
  • Oversee employee record-keeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations, exit interviews, etc. Ensure integrity of HR data.
  • The pay range is $85K-$95K/year; salary is determined based on education and experience.

What We Look For:
  • Bachelor’s degree field with 10+ years of relevant human resource management experience. PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience working on a multidisciplinary team preferred.
  • Must be a highly motivated and goal-oriented individual with sound judgment and integrity, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, work independently, and have a dedication and passion for Lund and our mission.
  • Must excel in relationship building and work well with a diverse group of people and constituencies collaboratively and respectfully.
  • Meticulous organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated critical and strategic thinking skills.
