We havepartnered with a great company in the Ottawa, IL area, who is currently looking for a director of finance to join their growing team!

Responsible for:

• Balancing sheets, revenues, expenses and payroll account reconciliations
• Account receivable
• Providing leadership to other account team members

Primary duties:

• Oversee month end accounting process by completing and compiling all financial statement reconciliations and statements
• Prepare annual financial forecasts
• Have the ability to explain financial statement variances
• Run and create various reports as requested by others on the management team
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals across the functional areas of the company and at all responsibility levels
• Take ownership of accounting information tools and strive to become an expert across all accounting cycles
• Able to produce proper work papers supporting account balances that comply with Generally Accepted Accounting (US GAAP) Principles

Must have knowledge of:

• Microsoft Word
• Excel
• Access
• Outlook
• PowerPoint
• SharePoint (Not required but preferred)
• Working knowledge of SAP and Point of Sale Systems

Currently seeking a dependent, task oriented, hard working individual.

• 80-100K
• Hybrid work Schedule (Mon/Friday – work from home) Tues, wed, Thursday office is open
