Director of Clinical Informatics and Education
Job description
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is looking for a Director of Education and Informatics. This is a full-time Registered Nurse Leadership position.
POSITION SUMMARY: Directs and designs curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of clinical staff. Collaborates with management and staff to plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programing for all levels of clinical personnel. Acts as key resource in orientation and continuing education of clinical staff.
This position manages the analysis, design, measurement, and creation of strategies for enhancing the usefulness of the informatics system applications supporting the clinical requirements. Supports and optimizes clinical information system capabilities to meet the organization’s quality patient care goals, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the continuum of care.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, masters preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2- 5 years of acute care hospital experience.
Licensure: Nevada licensed Registered Nurse. American Heart Association certifications in BLS.
