POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The position will be responsible for assisting with training and supporting of administrative functions: staff software (ADP, Oracle), accounting and HR functions as well as the YMCA annual fundraising Campaign.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Outgoing, engaging demeanor and interest in others.
  • Two or more years related business or office management experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (word, excel, outlook, publisher) and experience with standard business software and office equipment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Two or more years of non-profit and or community service experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates and facilitates branch equipment and supply orders.
  • Manages accounts payable and receivable processes for branch and follows up as needed.
  • Trains and supports branch staff to use multiple programming software.
  • Manages accounting and assists with organization of branch annual fundraising campaign.
  • Attends all staff meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
