We are looking for a talented analytics leader to join our Impact Analytics team. This person will lead a team of data and research scientists in support of Aledade Care Solutions, ACS. Aledade Care Solutions, ACS, is a new business unit at Aledade charged with designing, testing, and deploying new clinical service lines and business offerings that will augment and extend primary care practices’ clinical capacity, offering selected patients a portfolio of virtual and (eventually) home-based services to improve health at lower costs.

A deep understanding of value based care, experience using data to set strategy and guide implementation, and excellent communication and leadership skills are required for success. You’ll be excited to join a fast-paced environment to make a positive contribution to the healthcare field. You may work from our main office in Bethesda, Maryland, or remotely within the US. This position can be hired at a higher level based on experience and background.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership to scale and evolve Aledade’s existing analytics and data infrastructure to a new domain of priorities and projects.
  • Work closely with Impact Analytics, ACS, and other technical teams to define and build organizational and project structures to support ACS analytics needs ranging from ad hoc data requests to rigorous, pragmatic analysis.
  • Provide broad leadership with ACS business leads to guide priorities and projects.
  • Provide analytic leadership for evaluation of ACS efforts and in depth research to support ACS priorities, including establishing appropriate research designs to evaluate effects of ACS initiatives.
  • Providing leadership to scale and evolve existing analytics capabilities as Aledade continues to take on new efforts to improve performance under shared savings contracts with a wide range of health plans including traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, commercial and Medicaid populations.
  • Managing a team of high performing data scientists, researchers, and analysts. Mentoring the team in defining important analytical questions and leveraging a rich set of data including multi-payer claims, electronic health records, practice management system data, national provider data sets, and national Medicare claims and encounter data to answer them.
  • Rolling up your sleeves to help the team tackle the most difficult and complex analytical problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced training in health services research, mathematics/statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, economics, finance or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience working in the healthcare industry (i.e., health plan, hospital, government, actuarial or management consulting) with a proven track record of successfully defining and managing projects and performance and interfacing with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in value based care and shared savings program design, ideally spanning traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
  • Substantial direct management experience building and leading teams in a fast-growing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and facilitate new ideas into action while collaborating across multiple dynamic projects and teams, removing obstacles to achieve desired outcomes.
