This position is responsible for management of customer service operations, information systems enhancements and testing, regulatory compliance, case analysis and problem resolution.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily customer service operations, including billing, policy changes, values, complaints and quality control.

2. Manages the Texas Life call center phone system including development of queue workflows, revisions to phone messaging, and addition and deletion of queue members (currently transitioning to Genesys).

3. Management responsibility for IRS Section 72 Compliance regarding policy funding, supplemental contracts, pension/ERISA reporting, tax reporting for policies, reproposals, and performance statistics.

4. Respond to customers requesting assistance in handling complex problem cases.

5. Responsible for Policy Administration and other system enhancements and testing.

6. Oversee both requested and automatic correspondence systems.

7. Responsible for maintaining and updating departmental procedures for regulatory compliance.

8. Work with internal and external auditors.

9. Maintain product information for use by service department.

10. Serve on various committees and acts as liaison for service department.

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of five years of life insurance experience.

2. Ability to maintain good working relationship with customers, home office staff, and agents in a diverse business environment.

3. Ability to read and interpret provisions of life insurance contract and other legal documents.

4. Decision making skills

5. Effective oral and written communication skills.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of files.

7. Ability to use computer system and other office equipment, including word processing and spreadsheet applications provided by the Company.

8. Must be able to work at computer for long periods of time.

9. A background check is required and must be successfully completed prior to employment.

10. Knowledge/Experiene of the Flexible Architecture Simplified Technology (FAST) life insurance administration system is a plus.

11. Knowledge of the Genesys cloud phone system is a plus.

Required Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Location of Position:

This is a Texas based location with onsite work in Waco, Texas. Hybrid position with work from home opportunity. Remote work considered.
