Our Impact:

Freddie Mac’s Corporate Communications & Marketing Internal Communications team helps employees understand and value the mission and business of Freddie Mac. We do this by telling creative and inspiring stories about our company, our people, and the impact of our work. We work in partnership with the Content, Creative Services, Web Services and IT teams to bring storytelling to life online and offline to make sure our delivery impresses the clients and the audience.

Your Impact:

  • Digital Strategy and Analytics: Ideate, conceptualize, and lead a long-term digital/UX strategy and personalized experience for internal digital channels, including improvements, system maintenance and upgrades, ongoing data measurement and analysis. Lead a cross-functional team to migrate the Intranet from SharePoint Classic to Modern.

  • Communications Channels Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy and deploying the latest digital media tools, events, digital signs, and other channels in powerful new ways to attract and engage internal audiences.

  • Content Management: Partner with content leader to handle corporate editorial calendar to publish and curate their content as well as develop original content that resonates with key audiences.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build a client-focused support model that strengthens relationships with key continent leaders, encourage collaboration and add new value through consulting activities.

  • Team Engagement: Manage a team of communications professionals that hold themselves to a high standard, operate in a team-first environment, tackle new challenges and growth opportunities, deliver a high-quality product, exceed the needs of internal clients, and succeed in an ever-evolving environment.

  • Special Projects: Lead special projects on behalf of Corporate Communications & Marketing by defining project plans and processes to deliver on strategy, complete on time and on budget, and define and measure results.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university

  • 10+ years of proven experience in communications and marketing communications and 2+ years of management experience

  • Highly knowledgeable of digital and traditional media, emerging trends, digital creative tools, and user experience:

  • Jira/Confluence (agile tool), SharePoint or other CMS, Invision or other rapid prototyping tool

  • Google Analytics, Webtrends or another digital tracking toolset

  • Wrike or other project management/workflow tools

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Consistent track record of leading teams, content delivery strategy and channels strategy

  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive communications skills

  • Ability to prioritize for yourself and resources and the ability to work under pressure, resulting in the delivery of quality
