Core Responsibilities

eCommerce Content & Merchandising (30%)

  • Support the set-up and optimization for AMS PDP’s (title, text, image), and supervise and evaluate digital shelf quality through auditing for customers in the AMS region during peak traffic periods and health reporting
  • Submit timely audit reports to the Associate Digital Merchandiser summarizing key findings & recommended actions
  • Support the item set-up process - Support Associate Digital Merchandising in sourcing assets and content that will improve customer PDP’s (title, text, images) during peak traffic seasons
  • Develop insights and share learning and opportunities to optimize Ecommerce sales

Digital Store Auditing (50%):

  • Brick & Mortar Stores Audits- use digital resources (photos & survey data) to audit and report Third Party Merchandising Labor (3PL) activities (daily and weekly)
  • Supervise and analyze 3PL audit performance identifying areas of opportunity, trends & recommending actions
  • Support Account Direction development (update) for 3PL

Leadership and Development (20%):

  • Demonstrate and role model proactive and forward-looking behavior that anticipate achievements and deliver solutions.
  • Consistently seek greater understanding of our retailer priorities, capabilities, and omnichannel agendas to establish LEGO Group as a clear leader in retail execution.
  • Stay at the forefront of understanding changing store execution plans and omnichannel standard methodologies to champion new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate Individual Development Plan Tools (IDP) and vast developmental resources to supervise and guide progress to achieving goals.

The National Merchandising Team provides retail merchandising services to over 6000 Target and Walmart stores, key regional customers within the United States and Digital Merchandising to customers across our Business Unit. The primary focus of this team is to deliver a best-in-class retail experience to the LEGO® shopper across shopper channels. In the physical store setting, we are the eyes and ears for the company and are accountable for executing retail operations (e.g., pack out product, build displays, inventory reconciliation & correction, etc.) to ultimately drive conversion, deepen engagement, and meet our shopper needs. We focus on developing strong partnerships with our retail partners and use curiosity and focus, to seek and create solutions to everyday opportunities in store that better the shopper experience.

On dotcom, we take the same approach to delivering a best-in class retail experience to the online shopper and consumer. We work closely with our eCommerce Center of Excellence to provide digital merchandising support (e.g. product detail page audits and item setup support) so that the shopper gets the experience they expect and ultimately driving commercial impact for our retailers and LEGO®

Do you have what it takes?

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related field with high level of academic achievement; or equivalent working experience

  • 1+ years of experience in Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Sales or other relevant field
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills vital to present and communicate critical information and programs to partners within LEGO and at B2B eCommerce partners
  • Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while handling many projects at once
  • Comfort with technology, including the ability to understand key technical issues and their implications
  • Proven understanding of MS Office with particular emphasis in Excel and Power Point
  • 1 years+ of experience in Digital Merchandising within eCommerce
  • Experience with consumer-packaged goods and/or children’s category
  • Live in the New England area is preferred
  • This role can work remotely but willingness is required to relocate to Enfield, CT in the future
  • Weekends and holidays can be required to work
