We are looking for a detail-driven Senior Digital Project Manager who believes in collaboration, is intellectually curious and passionate about their role. Our Senior Digital Project Managers hold a pivotal position within WDG, serving as both a key intermediary between our clients, project delivery teams, and as a central Business Analyst.

In this role, there is close collaboration with WDG’s Strategists, Designers and Developers to establish lucid, actionable, deliverable, and best practices for digital transformations.

Our Senior Project Managers lead a variety of significant projects, demonstrating the broad scope of our work at WDG. Examples include:

• Collaborating with the American Red Cross on several rewarding projects, one of which is the redesign of their main domain. This involves reimagining and restructuring their primary website to improve user experience, enhance functionality, and refresh their online presence.

• Partnering with the Ford Foundation on a comprehensive project that includes a Content Management System (CMS) migration and website redesign. These types of initiatives require careful planning and execution to ensure seamless migration of their existing data, as well as a sophisticated design to improve navigation, aesthetics, and overall user engagement.

• Working alongside the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation on a web redesign project. A project that entails a thorough overhaul of their existing website to not only enhance visual appeal and user experience but also to better reflect their mission and the important environmental work they do.

• Serving as a primary digital agency for the University of Pennsylvania, aiding them with substantial digital transformations. This involves working intimately with the university’s team to strategize, plan, and implement digital innovations that enhance their online presence, streamline services, and improve overall digital engagement with students, staff, and the broader university community.

Day to Day General Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budget updates to effectively manage website development projects within the established WDG project management framework

• Track and manage project tasks and milestones, ensuring satisfactory completion and a seamless experience for clients and internal team members

• Prepare agendas, presentations, documents, and correspondence for client/stakeholder engagements and internal meetings

• Ensure team members are well-prepared for all meetings.

• Manage iterative design, development, and quality assurance processes

• Actively participate in quality assurance testing

• Actively participate in user-centric business analysis and requirements documentation

• Actively participate in resource management meetings

• Take the project management lead on a limited number of retainer-based engagements and execute them within the established WDG project management framework

Requirements:

• At least 6 years experience as a Project Manager in an agency setting, preferably in the website development or digital marketing industry

• Strong familiarity of waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management processes

• Strong familiarity with standard project management tools (Confluence, Jira, or similar)

• Strong familiarity with design, development, and testing processes

• Strong familiarity with open-source content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.)

• Familiarity with common marketing, member, and sales management platforms (SalesForce, HubSpot, Netforum, MailChimp, etc.)

• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prepare agendas, effectively lead meetings, track action items.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships and partnerships

• Ability to remain calm, productive, and positive under pressure

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proactive and results-driven approach

• Knowledge of resource management principles
