Description

This position will design and develop high-quality End to End Telematics systems and software features for E&T Site Connectivity clients & customers. This position participates in the concept and design of complex Digital Information Systems projects for release to production in a manner to ensure products provide superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Documenting market requirements
• Collaborating with internal customers and team members to develop software specifications
• Translating market requirements into technical specifications
• Creating test procedures
• Testing Telematics systems
• Troubleshooting system issues

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum plus 3+ years of experience in control systems, or an advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science plus 2+ years of experience in control systems.

Strong engineering, telematics skills

An understanding of product test & development, Caterpillar NPI Process

Excellent problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Caterpillar engines and Industrial Products

Knowledge of Industrial Datalinks and SCADA systems.

Knowledge of Diagnostic and Event systems

Knowledge of Service tools, SCII, Matlab, WireShark, Vector based development tools and displays

Additional Information

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position may require up to 10% travel.
