For each client, Blue Corona implements inbound internet marketing strategies such as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), website design and development, and marketing analytics services to measurably increase marketing performance.

As Digital Designer at Blue Corona, you will concept and execute projects that range from desktop and mobile website design to digital advertising campaigns, banner promotions, email newsletter graphics, and landing page design. To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and be able to manage working with multiple clients through a variety of mediums. The right candidate will be hungry for growth and learning, appreciates the importance of user experience and strategic design, and knows how to balance functionality with design.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Digital Designer team to fulfill client support requests including digital ad design, email newsletter design, website graphics, and more
• Work closely with Project Managers, the Account team, Development and QA specialists to design and execute small website projects
• Provide basic feedback to developers specific to functionality and layout coding
• Assist with client meetings during project kickoffs and design presentations
• Assist with visual asset / library asset creation
• Contribute to process optimization and strategic best practices
• Contribute to tool development and design innovation

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in digital design, web design, or related degree
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a digital designer
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of digital and web design examples
• Comfort in a client-facing role
• Capable design skill and technical proficiency
• Basic knowledge of responsive design principles for mobile design
• Proficient knowledge of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge)
• Working knowledge of website design best practices
• Basic understanding of user experience design best practices
• Can leverage data to provide strategic, analytic solutions to client problems
• Professional, self-motivated, reliable, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to balance numerous projects and manage time efficiently
• High level of attention to detail
