Job description
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and prep meals for all residents as directed.
- Serve and clean up after meals and snacks.
- Communicate clear instructions for meal & food prep to each team member.
- Comply with record keeping, food storage, and temperature logs.
- Monitor freshness of the food.
- Assure all cleaning tasks are complete and in compliance with guidelines.
- Assist with prep sheets, menu planning, ordering, and monitoring inventory, as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Prior food prep experience is great, but not necessary.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Must be flexible, reliable, able to work independently, and willing to cross-train in all areas of housekeeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with vulnerable adult community.
- SERV SAFE CERTIFIED
- CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER LICENSE CURRENT IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA
