Dietary Aide-2 | Mountain Laurel Recovery Center | Westfield, Pennsylvania
Job Summary:

Job Duties:

1.Determine amount and type of food and supplies required for the daily menus snacks and special needs meals Conduct daily check of cleaning cart to determine inventory of supplies.
2.Store food properly, including leftovers and snacks
3.Prepare balanced and nutritious menu and snacks within budget guidelines
4.Maintain a clean and safe kitchen for preparation of meals
5.Maintain personal health and hygiene practices when handling food e.g. use of gloves and proper hand washing technique
6.Operates all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Ensures safety precautions are followed with no sharps in client accessible areas
7.Meet all standards for the Health Department, MLRC, and CARF standards for food preparation
8.Demonstrate job specific knowledge of fire and disaster preparedness during drills or actual situations9.Observe, respond to and report potential hazards which may result in an accident or injury to a patient, staff or others Report all incidents including potential incidents of abuse or neglect immediately to direct supervisor 9.Perform other duties as assigned.
