Stefanini is looking for a Demand Planner in East Hanover NJ

Work Location: East Hanover NJ- Hybrid 50% at office

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM - 5PM

7 months contract with a possible extension

Job Description:

Reporting to the Product Supply Manager, the Demand Planner is responsible for managing and forecasting customer demand for all products in the categories prescribed.

• Will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply departments to lead and facilitate the planning process.
• He/she will incorporate the impacts of marketing campaigns, sales initiatives and new product development into the demand forecast.
• The position will also play a key role in leading the Demand Consensus meeting and the overall Integrated Business planning (IBP) process.
• Responsibilities: Develop forecasts of anticipated demand on a monthly basis by product family. * Lead demand reviews at the Demand Consensus Meeting with Sales, Marketing and other colleagues, with the goal of arriving at a consensus demand plan for the business.
• Analyze and communicate performance versus the consensus demand plan.
• Review trend and statistical analysis based on historical information and promotional information.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop forecasts of anticipated demand for new product innovation, marketing promotions and strategic initiatives.
• Use ACNielsen data to analyze market, competitor and consumer trends.
• Input and reconcile Annual Contract forecasts into the detailed business plan.
• Manage forecasts within forecasting tool (including management of statistical models i.e. by SKU, pallet, etc.).
• Work closely with product supply to identify forecast variances impacting supply. Recommend and lead actions to be taken based on Key Performance Indicator's (KPI), including execution of next steps and ongoing improvements.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting/Finance, Logistics or Engineering
• 4 + years related experience. Solid understanding of forecasting processes.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably
• Demonstrated drive for results, customer focus and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills, is able to relate well to a variety of individuals and build effective relationships Influencing skills and ability to stand alone/demonstrate professional confidence when challenged IBF, APICS, CITT Certification is preferred

Must have:

• Must have current 4 years experience in Demand Management/Forecasting.
• Education-BA degree required.
• APO system experience
• Consumption / Shipment Forecasting Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $73.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
