Position: Call Center Operator

Contract: A Large Utility Service Company

Location: Washington DC, 20003-3551

SPS Consulting is looking for an experienced Call Center/Customer Service Operator to assist in a high volume of call center. The candidate must demonstrate necessary experience and have an in depth understanding of basic customer service and call center operations. The position is Part time 30-35 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

· Determines requirements by working with customers.

· Provide customers with product and service information

· Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.

· Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.

· Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.

· Maintains call center database by entering information.

· Keeps equipment operational by following established procedures; reporting malfunctions.

· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

· Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· 3 years of experience working in a Call Center environment

· Must be proficient with MS Office Applications

· Bi-Lingual Preferred

· Superior Customer Service skills

· Extremely detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
