Job Description:

The Data Scientist is responsible for optimizing and deploying business processes and technology solutions within GRC (genome research center) in support of the company portfolio.

Advance the state-of-art Phenomics Data Science initiatives using large-scale real-world data.

A technical and innovative role that partners with statistical programming, clinical analytics, standards, statistics, data science and information technology experts to implement next generation clinical data analysis ecosystem.

Looking for experienced data scientists/data engineers with interest in driving new mathematical solutions and innovation in line with business strategy and rapidly changing data streams

Responsibilities: EHR/UK bio bank data

Required Skills/Experience:

• Data curation and mining on the Linux command line
• Advanced analytics
• Advanced programming skills with writing reusable scripts (R, Python, Spark or SQL)
• Develop (semi) automate EHR-phenotyping using large longitudinal UK Biobank and NHS data
• Strong communication and teamwork
• 2-3 years experience with PhD, or 5 years with MSc
• Pharmaceutical or CRO experience
• Biostatistics experience
• Experience working with EHR/UK Bio Bank data
