Part time Schedule Tuesday - Friday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EST

$16 an hour

Job Summary:

The IT Data Entry Specialist performs various job duties related to the gathering data and entering it into the applications supported by the New Season IT team. These data entry tasks include provisioning, deprovisioning of user accounts in applications managed by the New Season IT Team in addition to processing changes to existing user accounts related to promotions, transfers, etc. The Data Entry Specialist will perform other data entry tasks as necessary.

Essential Functions:

  • All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with New Seasons Human Services Corporation's policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments and governmental regulations.
  • Collaborates with the Human Resources and IT teams to provision user accounts for new hires in applications managed and supported by the IT team.
  • Updates user accounts to reflect job title changes, transfers, etc.
  • Deprovisions user accounts of offboarded users in applications managed and supported by the IT team in accordance with established account and data retention policies.
  • Utilizes the IT ticketing system to process user account provisioning, deprovisioning and change requests within established SLAs.
  • Provides hiring managers with the login credentials for new hires via the ticketing system.
  • Maintains databases by entering new and updated information.
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
  • Establishes and adheres to data entry priorities.
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
  • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following established IT policies and procedures.
  • Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Some weekend work may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Diploma required.

Required Knowledge: Working knowledge of application configuration methodology and change control is required.

Preferred Knowledge: Expertise with healthcare regulatory standards, including HIPAA. Knowledge of EHR systems and scripting languages is preferred.

Experience Required: Experienced working independently without supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications. Experience in a regulated environment is preferred. Healthcare experience is a plus. One or more years of related experience in Business Application configuration/support is preferred.

Skill and Ability: Strong problem identification and resolution skills. Proficient understanding of compliance requirements. Ability to work in an organized environment, completing project tasks and milestones diligently with little supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Strong negotiating skills

Finger Dexterity: Use primarily for writing, operating calculator, telephone, keyboard, and other office equipment.

Vision: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to observe patients and work on the computer. Clear vision at 20 inches or less and distant vision at 20 feet or more.

Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.

Mathematics Ability: Basic mathematics (including statistics) skills required.

Language Ability: Be able to communicate fluently in English, second language proficiency helpful
