Talent Analytics Specialist
SUMMARY:
Responsible for transforming data and analysis across Pace’s people functions as well as providing support for our Talent Systems.

This candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitors and analyzes talent and culture data and statistics to detect trends and patterns with attention to hiring effectiveness, engagement, turnover, career development, and talent mobility.
  • Builds and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and analytics that will be used to monitor and analyze our talent.
  • Extracts talent data while maintaining confidential information.
  • Utilizes tools such as Excel to perform analysis of talent and culture metrics including survey data.
  • Creates effective visualizations that clearly tell the story (graphs, charts, tables, dashboards, etc.)
  • Works with internal customers to understand and meets specific ad-hoc talent and culture reporting needs.
  • Supports the maintenance, improvements, and updates of our HR Talent Systems including testing new features.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for internal customers regarding Talent Systems reporting questions or issues.
  • Maintains system data integrity, identifies data irregularities, and works with the team to correct them.
  • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
  • Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business, human resources, , I/O psychology, organizational development, or a closely related field; AND two (2) years of experience in people analytics or closely related domain; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Special projects related to data analytics and/or internships also qualify for experience.

Knowledge:
  • Principles, practices, and techniques of data analytics.
  • Methods for communicating analytics and insights to various levels within an organization.
  • Techniques for visualizing data into dashboards and reports that are easy to understand and are compelling for stakeholders.
  • Methods to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.
  • Techniques for working with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Principles and techniques of providing effective oral presentations.
  • Principles and practices of program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Skills:
  • Collecting and analyzing information to monitor improvements, detect trends and patterns.
  • Problem solving to determine best course of action.
  • Carrying assigned projects through, from development to implementation.
  • Providing consulting services to supervisors and managers.
  • Preparing clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Using initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines.
  • Using tact, discretion, and prudence in working with those contacted in the course of the work.
  • Performing effective oral presentations to large and small groups.
  • Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives, and activities.
  • Effective and efficient use of technology to design, implement and provide services.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of individuals contacted in the course of the work.
