Position Summary:

The Data Analyst role is responsible for driving results through process strategies and process improvement within the team and as a company. This role is responsible for analyzing, identifying, and proposing solutions for opportunities within the department as well as across our Sales organization and Operations departments. The Data Analyst should understand best practices related to performance, process improvement, and process design, as well as evaluate and assess opportunities for improvement. In addition, this role must be proficient in Excel including understanding formulas, working with large data sets, using, and creating macros, and building templates and reporting tools for data analysis. Lastly, this role functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Chooses the timing and mode of communication that is appropriate to the situation (face-to-face, phone, teams, email, etc.)

  • Understands the critical need for applying new processes in all aspects of the role
  • Acts with others in mind (Sales team, Solutions team, and customers), balancing business needs with team needs

  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes and effectively communicates ideas
  • Anticipates potential obstacles and uses sounds judgement to act accordingly
  • Proactively seeks feedback from others on performance, strengths, and development areas
  • Is accountable for own performance and high motived to achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Excel – Building macros to create, automate, and streamline reporting and analysis (some VBA experience required)
  • Interpreting large data sets and analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Use graphs or other methods to visualize data
  • Critical thinking by taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks (templates) for both internal use and customer use

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
