Job description
Provide business analysis, integrated process and software design, development, testing and deployment as determined by the functional team in support of any PBL, T700PBL and/or IDIQ contract needs. Provide ongoing support to functional teams for tasks including: collaboration site administration, materials planning, the preparation of yearly contract margin reviews (CMRs), responding to customer service requests such as CDRLs and ah hoc report requests. The contract length will be three (3) years with the option of extending to five (5) years, beginning August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2027.

  • Process knowledge of Military Performance Base Logistics
  • Provide ad hoc as well as routine analytical reports to MSO Program Managers and Lynn, Mass based spare parts planners.
  • Participate as necessary in Information Management Systems Development Life Cycle processes with adherence to GE Aviation PMM and technical standards.
  • Work with minimal guidance with Evendale and remote site, functional, Information Management, customer and other third part teams.
  • Work with Information System personnel to migrate prototype solutions into formal production environment.
  • Analyze any problem issues assigned and recommend solutions.
  • Work to achieve schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Travel up to 4 times per year for one week each to locations including Corpus Christi NAS (CCAD) TX, Lynn MA, Cherry Point NAS NC, Austin TX, Huntsville AL, and other locations may be required.


Skill Sets and Knowledge required by the project

  • Process knowledge of Military Performance Base Logistics
  • Knowledge of GE Engine Services Maintenance Repair and Overhaul processes
  • Familiarity with Support Central Development and administration
  • Process Knowledge of Turbo Shaft/Turbo Prop Finance processes
  • Knowledge of general GE Aviation cost processes and systems
  • Familiarity with GE Aviation Military Data Warehousing processes and organization
  • Knowledge of Rotable Pool processes
  • Some knowledge with Military
  • 7+ years performing ad hoc data analysis and preparing reports using tools such as ACCESS, TOAD, SQL, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Familiarly with GE Aviation Military Systems Organization and Information Management standards and processes.


Material Execution and Planning Assistance

Develop the format and assist in the preparation of ad hoc as well as routine analytical reports in support of the material provisioning process for both Navy and Army logistics contacts. Assist Lynn materials and program resources in both contract proposal and execution related activities.


2. Collaboration Site Support

Assist in the preparation and deployment of static contract metric and support data content on GET ‘ Support Central’ or equivalent web sites. Enhance appearance with custom html docs.


3. CWC Site Support and Enhancement

Leverage existing CWC CCAD site to new contracts such as the T700 Engine Rotor PBL with the Navy. Design and assist in the development and implementation of site enhancements to support multiple contracts. Assist GET IT Project Manager in completing GE eNPI tollgates to implement GET CWC enhancements including user interface, database, and web delivery technologies. Develop prototypes to validate usability and facilitate CWC design and development effort.


4. Support Preparation of Contract Metrics and CMR Reviews

Assist program management by purifying and integrating disparate data to produce concise analyses for both one time and repetitive report outs. Work to transition repetitive reporting needs to automated solutions. Support Program Management’ s CMR reporting requirements


5. Coordinate with Customers to Exchange Key Contract Transactional Data

Work with program management to identify and gain access to key customer data. Establish EDI as well as batch updates to and from customer systems.


6. Support the transmission of Constructive Goods Receipts, Goods issue, and other data files.


7. Support cost out initiatives to protect base margin of contract profitability.

Work with program manager to identify opportunities for replace vs repair of parts as part of the overhaul process .



8. Support sales team in cost analysis of products and services to set target pricing for future work.

Work with the program manager to review historical cost and propose pricing based on future cost. Prepare risk files as needed to support business approvals of final proposals to answer customer RFP.
