Responsibilities
The Florida State University College of Law invites applications and nominations for the D’Alemberte Chair. The Chair was established in honor of Talbot “Sandy” D’Alemberte, a well-known and beloved Professor and Dean at Florida State University College of Law and President of Florida State University from 1994 to 2003.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree, have significant experience (5 years minimum) in teaching and/or practice, and be qualified for appointment as a tenured, full professor. Candidates must have a distinguished publication record in constitutional law, with a focus on the first amendment.
