We are currently looking for a collaborative detail-oriented individual to manage the parking sales activities at our company's operated locations. In this role you will have an opportunity to engage in projects across a wide range of sales, customer service and accounting functions.

Interstate Parking is a rapidly growing managed parking solutions company headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a significant presence in the Twin Cities. We have 275 team members operating over 250 locations encompassing more than 65,000 parking spaces in geographic markets spanning from California to Indiana. We’ve accomplished this by creating an exceptional customer experience through the implementation of advanced technology and innovative marketing techniques within the industry.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Sales and Customer Service Duties
  • Community outreach – proactively communicate with area customers and stakeholders to address parking needs and create custom parking solutions
  • Sales of monthly parking contracts, validation accounts and prepaid event parking
  • Administer monthly parker contract sign up process
  • Maintain relationship including frequent customer satisfaction inquiries with group account contacts
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Outreach Specialists to support alternative transportation options.
  • Establish validation accounts for businesses and make accommodations based on need.
  • Work with new customers and ensure continuing satisfaction of existing customers.
  • Meet with employers and staff to set up group accounts for parking
Accounting/Data Entry Duties
  • Data entry & reconciliation of revenues into a central revenue system
  • Maintain deposits, records, and receipts relating to revenue control systems
  • Assist regional accountants with general month-end administrative duties, pulling bank and merchant account statements, reports, and other necessary documents
  • Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mail, email, and other documents
  • Provide administrative back up support for other offices
  • Distribute weekly accounting reports to various departments
  • Perform various administrative accounting projects
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and standard computer applications
Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • Previous accounting experience (AP/AR, bookkeeping, Journal Entries)
  • Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
