Job Description:

Customer Service Representative

Role Summary:

Provide best-in-class customer service by answering incoming calls and placing outbound calls to/from customers for the purpose of supporting clients’ business growth and customer service goals. Maintain strong knowledge of products, FAQs, and processing steps. Provide efficient, courteous customer service and assistance in all aspects of product offerings and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound and/or place outbound calls professionally.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Research required information using available resources.
  • Provide customers with product and service information. Enter customer information.
  • Process orders, forms, and applications.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues, including complaints.
  • Route calls to the appropriate resource.
  • Protect all personal health information at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Strong data entry/keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
  • Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Must have a "can-do" attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to politely handle rejection from customers.
  • Ability to work independently.

Other Requirements:

  • Vaccination against COVID-19 required.
  • Requires background check.
  • Must be available to work scheduled shift after training.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High School or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
  • Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone.
  • Previous experience requiring the ability to use the computer system and maintain good records effectively.
