Customer Service/Returns Representative for an online retail company.

About our Company

Our family-owned business is one of the largest online selections of Christmas decorations, home décor and outdoor living items. Our shelves are stocked 365 days per year, and products are shipped from our Cheektowaga, NY warehouse. We offer everything from the smallest ornament to the tallest artificial Christmas tree and everything in between. We are more than just Christmas! We off all holiday decorations – in addition to indoor decor and everything you need to decorate your home and we have nearly 40 years of experience as a retailer.

This position will assist the returns department and later transition into the Customer Service Department

2 Years’ experience preferred – paid training will be offered to the right candidate.

• Answering calls and emails regarding sales and customer service issues in a call center environment.
• Assisting customers with sales over the phone.
• Listing 25-30 products per day at 90% minimum quality standard for our company website – www.ChristmasCentral.com.
• Maintain and promote a positive attitude while meeting customer service goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to create a great customer service experience.
• Processing & notating customer returns from carrier in our returns department.
• Must be able to multi-task and work alone efficiently.

Tools to Succeed

• Follow directions and work as a team.
• Must be pleasant, professional, with detailed communication skills.
• Follow-up on customer orders as necessary.
• Must be able to multitask and make decisions on your own.
• Self-control and composure in the event of escalated calls.
• Willingness to submit to a drug test.
• Must maintain a strong attendance and be ready to work at the scheduled time.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of PC-based internet.
• Moderate typing skills – 30-35 WPM.
• Creative thinking while following a listing template.
• Basic understanding of Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High School diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Maintain good attendance.
• Flexible working schedule especially during peak season – October -February.
