Summary/Objective

The Distribution Customer Service Representative (CSR) position works with the Enterprise Solutions and Drayage Departments providing a wide array of assistance, including interacting with multiple warehouse leadership personnel and team members, company partners, and vendors/contractors. This individual will carry out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders, billing responsibilities, and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.

Essential Functions

· Interacts with warehouse personnel and 3PL client-base by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, product shipments and inventory counts.
· Assures proper invoicing of 3PL accounts by verifying computer-generated documentation.
· Acts as a liaison between the Enterprise Solutions Manager, the 3PL/Drayage accounts, and the warehouse team members.
· Maintains current and accurate invoicing records, which details the processing requirements and procedures of each account.
· Plan, coordinate, schedule, evaluate and monitor successful logistics and supply chain actions on behalf of the 3PL customers.
· Maintains product damage records and back-order logs.
· Assist as needed with providing dispatcher tasks for drayage drivers while they are out on routes.
· Research, evaluate, and resolve discrepancies and customer concerns.
· Coordinate priorities based on product availability, distribution, and shipping capabilities to ensure accuracy.
· Assist Inventory Control Specialist II with as-needed inventory tasks, cycle counting, and scheduled physical inventory counts.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines and call monitoring equipment.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some lifting is required. This would require the ability to lift paper or parts, open cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Non-exempt employees are entitled to overtime for work required to be performed over 40 hours per work week. Must be able to maintain our regular work schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Required Education and Experience
· College degree or equivalent professional experience
· 3PL, Distribution or Drayage experience helpful
· Ability to utilize Word, Excel, and Outlook to perform job responsibilities
· Above-average data entry and word processing skills required
· Knowledge of basic mathematics
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
