What We’re Looking For…

A Customer Care Manager who is responsible for the non-clinical supervision of Home Health Aides (HHAs) in our Home Care department.

This is a SALARIED position, working mainly day shift with some flexibility.

What You’ll Be Doing...

  • Customer/client care – effectively manages the customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client/customer relations.
  • Scheduling and care coverage – supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes; schedules staff to meet client care needs and minimize non-billed overtime; ensures on-call phone, and assigned staff are properly trained and available as needed.
  • Assisting with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies.
  • Assisting in the development of organization goals and agency performance improvement activities.
  • Administering agency policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the Director of Nursing with assessing the competency of staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of a client’s care.
  • Supervising, educating, and coaching other field personnel.
  • Providing information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
  • Assuring proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintaining timely and honest communication with employees and clients, and open discussion between collaborators.
  • Conducting all business-related communication through one of BrightStar’s designated communication systems, which includes Clarity for phone calls, Notifyd for HIPAA compliant texting, MessageDesk for texting, and company email for emails.
  • Identifying and communicating opportunities for process improvement to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Working with compliance of law and avoid liability for the company.
  • Attending meetings and in-services, as scheduled.
  • Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor.

You’ll need to have:

  • To be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in scheduling employees
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in management
  • Valid driver's license
  • Car insurance

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in home/facility healthcare
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in scheduling employees
