BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES

The Board of Education is seeking applications for the 2022/2023 school year for the following position:

JOB COACH

(12 Months – Non-BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES SCHOOL DISTRICT

CUSTODIAN/DRIVER (SPLIT SHIFT)

9:00am-5:00pm

(12 Months – Non-certificated)

DISTRICT/TRANSPORTATION

Qualifications:

Good physical condition.

Must be able to read and write English.

Dependable and conscientious.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Possess a valid class B CDL license; additionally, must possess, Passenger and School Bus endorsements; Air Brakes – preferred.

New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.

NOTE: Staff may be transferred to any shift depending on the need of the school district.

Qualifications:

High School diploma.

Ability to communicate effectively with various employers on behalf of students/adults with disabilities.

Must possess and maintain a valid New Jersey Driver’s License and a vehicle which is insured and registered in the State of New Jersey.

Must obtain CDL License within six (6) months of employment.

Experience performing small group instruction for adults with disabilities related to daily living and community activities – preferred.

New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.
