Job description
We are looking for someone who has experience cleaning large, commercial buildings. This is a full time position, hours will be Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Once training is complete hours will be 9am to 6pm Monday thru Friday.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Monitor/Maintenance of minor repairs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow Nightly/Weekly/Monthly cleaning schedule accurately and efficiently
- Clean and supply designated building areas: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitization, etc.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for major repairs; perform minor repairs (fixing doors, minor leaks, replace lightbulbs, etc.)
- Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances and checking the campus for litter
- Assist in emergency cleanup when needed.
- Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, setting the alarm, turning off all light switches and lamps in all rooms/offices/cubicles upon exit
- Use and maintain assigned equipment: vacuums, brooms, mops, etc. for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.
- Follow all safety instructions including the use of chemicals and supplies (Use as Directed).
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies, use of ladders on incidental basis.

- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in janitorial, cleaning or custodial role
- Handyman experience or experience making minor repairs
- Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Physically demanding role; requires frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, grasping, crouching, walking, lifting of 50lbs, twisting at the waist, raising arms above the head, climbing up and down stairs.
