Advance Services, Inc. is looking to hire Custodians to work at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City! The Custodian is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and healthy environment for patients, guests, and staff at the hospital.
We currently have openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-shifts, and no weekend or holiday work is required!
1st Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am Monday-Friday
3rd Shift: 10:30am-7:00am Monday-Friday
Pay:
1st Shift: $16/hour
2nd Shift: $16.60/hour
3rd Shift: $17.75/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
*
general cleaning duties
*
trash removal
*
restroom cleaning
*
dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp mopping hard surface floors
*
carpet cleaning
*
unit/bed making
*
wall & ceiling washing
*
furniture moves and room setup
*
ability to use various types of custodial equipment in performance of duties
Scrubs and personal protective equipment will be provided.
