*Job Responsibilities:*

Customer Collection Activities - Maintain regular communications with customers to assure that assigned accounts are kept in a current status. Maintain appropriate documentation of collection procedures performed to reference for future communications. Follow up in a timely manner on all past due invoices. Pro-actively confirm approval of all larger invoices with key customers. Escalate any issues or disputed invoices to the appropriate level. May make recommendation to management for accounts to be turned over to a collection agency or for equipment to be repossessed. Make recommendation for any accounts to be written off to bad debt. In the case of bankruptcies, file the Proof of Claim and/or send details to the Legal Department when appropriate.

  • Credit Review Process - Monitor credit status of all assigned accounts. Using Credit Advisory, notify all branches and Crown Credit of any credit concerns. May review new customers and new sales deals for credit worthiness. May also obtain credit information from customer, Dunn & Bradstreet, and other Internet sources. Make recommendations for credit limits or customer terms where appropriate.
  • Key Customer Relationships - Develop strong relationships with key customers. Where appropriate, meet with customer to enhance relationship or resolve issues. Maintain current customer contact information.
  • Prepare and Review Reports - Review on-line and other reports to identify trends and accounts requiring follow-up. Prepare customer specific reports as needed.
  • Monitor Customer History - Using on-line tools, reports, and Internet searches, identify trends or changes in customer payment habits, or other changes in their business environment. Prepare customer specific reports indicating trends, where necessary. Escalate any concerns to management.

Job Qualifications:**

0-2 years related experience

  • Associate degree (Accounting or related field)
  • Good communication and computer skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment are necessary for this position.
  • Travel to branches and customers may be required.
